LIZ WEST
Liz West has enjoyed an extensive career producing, reporting and anchoring for 5 major networks including CTV andCitytv. She has delivered hundreds of interviews with celebrities, newsmakers, royalty and hometown heroes, covering everything from news and entertainment, to lifestyle content. Liz has hosted reality shows, talk shows and major events with a flair and unique style that has earned her several awards. She has also hosted and produced a number of podcasts, including Future Forward for CPA Ontario. Whether live from the red carpet, backstage with Bono, or holding politicians’ feet to the fire, for Liz it’s always been about finding that fresh angle, asking the right questions, and delivering an engaging story.
Liz’s skills make her a natural coach to professionals and future stars who strive to be outstanding presenters on stage, in the boardroom, on-camera and virtually. Her clients include scientists, business owners, influencers and TEDx speakers, to name a few. Liz is also creator and instructor of the Virtual Communication course at the University of Toronto, School of Continuing Studies.
You can hear her daily as host of the Afternoon Express on Zoomer Radio. She can also be found on stage (and online) acting as Emcee or Moderator for a variety of events and is equally comfortable in a room full of executives, celebrities or philanthropists.
Liz is also co-author of Scratch Your Buts Seven Words That Get in The Way, a guide to a becoming a better communicator and holds a diploma in organizational communications.
